Cassidy is 5'10", and of average build (not too thin, not too thick). He has dark hair, which he usually keeps between chin and shoulder length. Sometimes he highlights it and adds little bits of brightly colored muggle dye to it. He is lazy about shaving, so sometimes he has a bit of a five o'clock shadow, though he would never actually grow full-fledged facial hair. He has large brown eyes with long lashes. Otherwise he's fairly normal looking--except for his almost permanent goofy smile.

Cassidy was adopted at birth. He had a fairly normal childhood--playing ball, video games, lots of friends. When the owl arrived, he simply said "cool" and accepted himself for what he was. At Hogwarts, his laid back attitude and sense of fun have earned him many friends. He doesn’t have any enemies that he knows of. In his spare time, he likes to write and play music. The idea of graduating at the end of this year makes him a little uncomfortable--he's not sure what he will do after Hogwarts. If he has his way, he'll join a band, like the Weird Sisters and become a rockstar.

His family is supportive of him. As far as they are concerned, their son is still their son. He's still the boy they raised, and it doesn't matter if he can do magic or not. They figure as long as he's not landing himself in detention or hurting people all is well.

Overall--he's just a teenaged boy.
